CPS Virtual fosters connection and engagement by incorporating participant input to guide learning and activity topics. Programming is enriched through collaboration with community instructors in areas such as fitness and music, alongside facilitation by BCCL CPS staff and York University teacher candidates. The program also features special events and workshops delivered through valued community partnerships, creating a dynamic and inclusive virtual learning environment.

13 Fisherman

Fisherman offers a wide range of meaningful activities both on-site and within the community. At the location, participants engage in enriching activities such as journaling, tapestry and textile work, arts and crafts, kitchen safety and life skills, world travel exploration, and book club discussions. Community-based opportunities are a key part of the experience, with regular opportunities for art classes at Visual Arts Brampton, fitness and recreation at the YMCA, and visits to local libraries and community centres.

Fisherman also promotes civic engagement and personal growth through volunteer experiences. Partnerships with organizations such as Meals on Wheels, the SPCA, and local library branches enable participants to give back to their community while building confidence, skills, and a sense of belonging.
