Carmen Baker – Chair

Carmen has extensive managerial and supervisory experience in the human service sector. Carmen is fluent in French and English and an Honours graduate of George Brown College, Carmen is passionate about the work BCCL does and helping individuals with a disability and their families

Carson Coughlin – Vice Chair

Carson is an Assistant Crown Attorney in Peel (Homicide Prosecution Team). Carson volunteers his time as a regular lecturer for Peel Police continuing education program, presenting at local Peel high schools and the Ontario Crown Attorney’s Association. Carson Coughlin has shown great interest in the mission of Brampton Caledon Community Living and is eager to contribute any way he can to the success of Brampton Caledon Community Living.  
 

Karen Calomino – Secretary

Karen Calomino’s daily goal as a nurse was to provide excellent care to patients at their most vulnerable time. Her kind and caring approach along with her personal experience as the mother of an adult son with autism brings valuable insight to the board in her role as a board member.

Cameron Craig – Treasurer

Cameron Director has been an advocate for many years, as a father of a child with a developmental disability, he knows first-hand the challenges faced by people and their families.  Before retirement, Cameron worked many years as the Director of Information Systems for Canada’s premier aerospace company providing IT services to all of the Canadian Operations.

General Directors

Andy Willemsen

Andy has over 32 years’ experience in the developmental services sector, with extensive knowledge in education and rights for those who need assistance.  Andy is also a member of Community Living Oakville’s Rights and Restriction Committee.  As a recent retiree, Andy is enjoying his retirement by travelling cross-country.

Susan Greenwood

Susan Greenwood is a long-standing member of BCCL and has always envisioned she would one day serve on the board like her father did many years ago. Susan’s skills as a successful business owner coupled with her years of supporting and advocating for family members who have a developmental disability, make her an ideal board member for BCCL.

Kyle Villers

Constable Kyle Villers has proudly served as a member of Peel Regional Police for 15 years.  Currently he is assigned to the Community Mobilization Unit within the Community Safety and Wellbeing Services area.  Kyles dedication to fostering strong community connections extends beyond the traditional role of an officer within Peel Police, as he is also an active member of the Peel Autism Collaborative.  

Sean Travis

Sean is a former president of BCCL and Home Depot associate.  He is actively engaged in projects designed to empower people with a developmental disability, including rights and abuse awareness training.  Sean brings an important and critical perspective to board deliberations as a self-advocate.

Vickramjeet Aujla

Vickramjeet (Vic) Aujla is an Assistant Crown Attorney who wants to give back to the community in a meaningful way. BCCL’s vision of a community that respects and embraces the dignity, inherent value and rights of all people is something that resonates deeply with Vic. Vic is excited to begin this meaningful journey as a board member for BCCL.

Charles Rego

Charles Rego serves as the Executive Director of Brampton Caledon Community Living, bringing nearly three decades of leadership experience rooted in inclusion, integrity, and community impact. With a strong background in strategic planning, organizational development, and transformational change, Charles has dedicated his career to supporting people with an intellectual disability to live meaningful, connected lives. Since joining BCCL in 1996, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening programs, advancing quality standards, and building partnerships that enhance services across the region.
 
With a background in sociology, law administration, and organizational management, Charles continues to champion person-centred supports while fostering a culture of engagement, transparency, and continuous improvement.
